Speech pathologists diagnose, assess. treat, and help prevent communication and swallowing disorders in people. They work with both children and adults who have speech problems, including cognitive or social communication problems. They may be unable to speak at all, or they may speak with difficulty or have rhythm and fluency problems, such as stuttering.

Salary:

They make an average of $36.83 per hour and $76,610 per year. 

Education:

All speech pathologists typically need to have at least a master's degree. Some states do require that the speech pathologist is licensed.

No, I would not like to become a speech pathologist in the future. Although they help others, if I were to help other people for a job it would be in a different way, but I do appreciate their work. They also make good money, but the career doesn't interest me and isn't something I would like to do.
