Daily Student Success Statement

Daily Student Success Statement  "Dare to stand alone. Stand up for what is right, even if you stand alone." -Thomas S. Monson  Reflection: I agree with this student success statement by Thomas S. Monson. It is much better to stand alone than stand with others by choosing the wrong. If you choose the right you might feel a bit lonely at time but it is the right thing to do, no matter what. If someone invites you to got o a party and drink and do drugs and somebody else invites you to go volunteer at a hospital and then go watch a movie, then the option is clear. You should go volunteer and watch a movie. Although all the popular people are going to that party, they will be choosing the wrong so you shouldn't go. But in the other hand if you go with your close friends to volunteer at a hospital and help those in need you will be choosing the wrong and afterwards you guys can watch a movie that does not involve choosing the wrong. Never " You can't be right by doing wrong; you can't be wrong by doing right." - Thomas S. Monson Reflection: This quote means that you can't be correct when you do something that is bad. For example you can't be correct by punching someone else.  It also means that you can't be incorrect if you do what's right. For example you can't be wrong by providing help to those in needs. Those who like to use drugs, drink alcoholic beverages, watch filthy sites, steal, and lie cannot be right. But those who help others, are loyal, kind, obedient, forgiving, and trustworthy can never be wrong. So I believe that this quote is correct and totally agree with its meaning. By choosing  the wrong you can't be trusted and people won't believe what you have to say to the. By choosing the right you can be trusted and people will most likely believe  whatever it is that you have to express to them, and will most likely not doubt you as they know y...

"Develop the attitude of gratitude." -Thomas S. Monson Reflection :  What I believe this quote means is that you must show gratitude in your life. Gratitude means to be thankful for people and things that you love and appreciate. If you don't show gratitude people won't think good of you as a person. That is why you should always show gratitude towards those you care for. Be grateful for your family, because they will always love you. Be grateful for your friends, they will always support you and always understand you. Be grateful for having food, as many people around the world don't have the same chances of eating as you. Be grateful for your home as many people don't have any. Lastly be grateful for your education, because in many parts of the world either they have to pay for education or not have any at all.
