Spring Break

Spring Break

On saturday I went to Dafne's birthday party. Valerie, Grecia, Janis, Isaiah, and Charles also went to the party. She had a mechanical bull at her house, and everyone rode it. We played games, we talked, we watched tv, and we ate. On sunday I went to visit my cousins. We watched movies, we played, we ate. I had a fun time I spent most of the day there. Then the next day we went to the park the next day with them, and we went out to eat. On tuesday I took a day to rest I watched tv and use my phone pretty much the entire day. On wednesday I went to the park in the morning. I also started with my homework; I finished my part for the laboratory report on heart rate for biomed.  The next day I did my English essay about friendship, and wrote my story about loss for health careers. On friday I took another day to rest, so I didn't do much that day. On Saturday we had family over, they spent the day at our house and we had a little barbecue. They spent the night over so the next morning which was sunday we took them to the bus central. Since it was easter my family and I went to this place where there were a bunch of games and a restaurant. On monday which was the last day of spring break I went to the dentist. The dentist was having problems, and they ended up putting tighter braces. Since my cousins lived by so we went to visit them.

Daily Student Success Statement  "True Independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right."  - Brigham Young  Reflection:  I agree with this quote because true independence and freedom can only exist  in doing what's right. So do what's right because it's important to be independent and live freely once you start choosing the right. Like Brigham Young University students don't use bad language, they don't drink alcohol, and caffeine which includes coffee and soda which is so sad. But they resist temptations anyway. SO choose the right.

Student Success Statement  Eight Great Reasons to Tell the Truth Barbara A. Lewis Telling the truth lets everyone know what really happened. There's less chance of misunderstanding, confusion, or conflict. Telling the truth protects innocent people from being blamed or punished. Telling the truth allows everyone to learn from what happened. You usually get into less trouble for telling the truth other than for lying (and getting caught).  Other people trust you more when you tell the truth. You don't have to tell (and remember) more lies to keep your story straight. You gain a reputation for being truthful - a trait most people value. Telling the truth helps you feel secure and peaceful inside.  Reflection: I believe these eight reasons are great reasons to never lie. My favorite reason is the one that says that if you don't lie you protect the innocent for taking any blame or punishment. For example if you are at home and you break your m...
