It is the responsibility of an orthodontist to straighten teeth and correct bites. Orthodontists are responsible for locating problems with the positioning of patient's teeth and with their oral development. They also use x-rays or plaster molds of the patient's teeth to do so.

Education:

Orthodontists must have a Undergraduate degree; Doctor of Dental Science Degree via the completion of four years of study at an accredited dental school; orthodontics residency. 

Demand for this particular career:

Because most orthodontists run their own business and are typically self-employed, orthodontists must learn skills such as basic business skills such as human resource management, taxation, billing, finance management and accounting. Sales and persuasive skills are mostly needed in order to attract other costumers. They must also have a large variety of knowledge and experience when it comes to teeth. As well as having lots of patience towards coworkers and patients.

No, I would not like to become an orthodontist. This because I don't like to deal with anything teeth related when it comes to a career.They do make a good salary I simply don't like the job. That's why I would not like to become an Orthodontist.
