Daily Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement "I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong." -Abraham Lincoln Reflection: I agree with this quote by Abraham Lincoln. You should do what's right because it benefits others most of the time. If you are true to doing what's right, good things will come your way. You must spend time with those who do good and not with those who do bad. Even if they do good once in a while, that's still not good enough, they should do what's right all the time. So for example if your friend helps others and is honest you should spend time with him, but if he starts to do bad things and does not care about helping other you should stop hanging out. Even if they once were good people, once they start to behave bad you must try to either stop having connections with them or try to help them starting to do good agai

Daily Student Success Statement

Daily Student Success Statement  "Character is higher than intellect" -Ralph Waldo Emerson  Reflection: I agree with this quote, as I personally like it. This quote is saying that  having a good personality is more important than being a  smart person. So it's technically  saying that although intelligence is important, being nicer to others is more important. So it doesn't matter how smart you are, your kindness is all that matters. So if you don't go to college and not get a job and you end up homeless as long as your nice, everything will be great. So be nice, being kind matters most. It's like if they check someone's grade, and a person has an A in a class but U for behavior and another person has a B but an E in conduct, they will choose  the person with the lowest grade. So don't forget to behave well, have good character. This is all because grades shouldn't be your priority. Behavior and good character should be your priority.

Daily Student Success Statement

Daily Student Success Statement  " I trust that my hard work will pay off." Tyler Haws Reflection: I think that this student success Statement means that if you work hard enough you're goals will be accomplished. So if you practice hard enough you'll get whatever you want in life. For example if Evelyn wants to become a youtuber blogger like Logan Paul like she has always dreamed, she would have to act every single day of her life.  If you want to become good at something you should practice everyday. But you must work hard and not do do illegal stuff like do drugs. But by practicing you should always do what's right. When practicing you should know that choosing he right comes first. It doesn't matter if you become good at something, if you don't have a good heart. A good heart must be present at all times. That is what this quote means.
