Daily Student Success Statement

"Character is higher than intellect"

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Reflection:

I agree with this quote, as I personally like it. This quote is saying that having a good personality is more important than being a smart person. So it's technically saying that although intelligence is important, being nicer to others is more important. So it doesn't matter how smart you are, your kindness is all that matters. So if you don't go to college and not get a job and you end up homeless as long as your nice, everything will be great. So be nice, being kind matters most. It's like if they check someone's grade, and a person has an A in a class but U for behavior and another person has a B but an E in conduct, they will choose the person with the lowest grade. So don't forget to behave well, have good character. This is all because grades shouldn't be your priority. Behavior and good character should be your priority.
