Challenges Teens Face Today

Challenges Teens Face Today What are several of the major challenges teens deal with today? Bullying: 30% of all teens in the U.S. have faced bullying, especially with the use of social media. Depression: 12.5% of teenagers in the United States have had at least one major depression episode during the last year.  Drug/alcohol use: There has been a rise of teenagers who use drugs and alcohol during the past few years. Academic Problems/Pressure: More teens have dropped out of school now that in past years, which is a real problem. Social Media: Many teens are trying to fit in so they use social media to do so, they can go as far as to post offensive content to feel popular.    What are one or two major challenges YOU are dealing with today? What are you doing about them? I do not face most of these challenges, but I do feel that academic pressure may apply to me. This is because sometimes schoolwork can get hard and assignments can pil...

Google                         Google was founded and Incorporated in 1998 by founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin met back in 1995 at Stanford University; the latter was assigned to show Larry around. My Winter Break

Winter Break On my winter break I mostly just relaxed, but I also visited people and went places. The first week of winter break was pretty calm, I didn't do much except for Christmas Eve and Christmas. That week I slept in, watched television, and use my phone, I sometimes went to the park as well. On Christmas Eve we went to visit family from my dad's side of the family that leave near us, I don't really know them well so I didn't talk a lot. On Christmas, we visited family from my mom's side. That day I got money, clothes, chocolates, and a gift card. I played with my cousins and we watched movies together. The next week I did more stuff than the week before. We went to some of my cousins' basketball games, we went shopping, and one day I went with my cousins as we traveled all over Los Angeles just stopping at interesting places. Then days later New Years Eve arrived and we spent it with my dad's family again, and like before I didn't really tal...

Class Evaluation

Class Evaluation 1. There are a couple  of things I liked about the class. One of them is that we have improved our  typing skills by a lot during this first semester. I like that we get to learn about different careers. I also liked that we were sometimes given free time  in our computers. I also liked that you encourage us to behave good and to stay out of trouble. You also allow us to print, and sometimes revise assignments from our other classes. I also enjoyed how we are being introduced to coding with Hour of Code. As well as to introduce us to use blogs and more things that may be helpful to us in the near future.   2. There were also a couple of things I didn't ' like about the class. I did not like that we were assigned seats, because that makes the classroom more quiet, and I believe students should be able to interact with people they have talked to before as well. Another thing I also don't enjoy much is that we spend the majority of the class w...
