Eventually someone is going to notice you messed up a detail or you said a lie you hadn't told them before and they will know you are lying. When people find out you have been telling them not one but multiple lies they will be very mad at you. People will dislike you, not talk to you, and will never trust you again. That is why I believe you should never lie to anyone no matter in what situation. This is because one small punishment now is better that one big punishment later. That is why I like and agree with Paul Hatch's quote.
