Student Success Statement

Reflection:

I agree with this quote by Abraham Lincoln. You should do what's right because it benefits others most of the time. If you are true to doing what's right, good things will come your way. You must spend time with those who do good and not with those who do bad. Even if they do good once in a while, that's still not good enough, they should do what's right all the time. So for example if your friend helps others and is honest you should spend time with him, but if he starts to do bad things and does not care about helping other you should stop hanging out. Even if they once were good people, once they start to behave bad you must try to either stop having connections with them or try to help them starting to do good again. Even if it costs you a victory, doing the right thing is always better. So doing what's right is far more important than winning at something.

Instead of doing things for attention you should do it for your own good. Don't try to please others, and do what's right.  For example say you saw someone throw trash on the floor, you should do it because you are trying to do what's right, instead of let's say only doing it because there were a lot of people watching you and thinking good things about you.
