Instead of doing things for attention you should do it for your own good. Don't try to please others, and do what's right. For example say you saw someone throw trash on the floor, you should do it because you are trying to do what's right, instead of let's say only doing it because there were a lot of people watching you and thinking good things about you. Try to remember that someday people will forget what you did and not remember any of your past actions, but even if they forget what you did the change you made to help the world will always be there.
